Ottawa, CA: Kongsberg Geospatial, an Ottawa-based geospatial technology company, announced today that as part of its continued partnership with the new Area X.O test facility (formerly known as Ottawa L5), it will be deploying its IRIS Airspace Management system for real-time tracking and display of airborne and land-based unmanned systems to the Area X.O Operations Center and in the Mobile Command Center vehicle.

Ottawa, CA: Kongsberg Geospatial, an Ottawa-based aerospace and defense geospatial technology company, announced that it has been selected as part of the team responsible for developing and testing a new integrated Contingency Management Platform (CMP) at the New York Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Test Site, at Griffiss International Airport in Rome, NY.

Kongsberg Geospatial will be deploying IRIS GCS - a real-time airspace visualization system for beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLOS) mission management that allows a single operator to manage multiple aircraft. The system is built on the company’s TerraLens real-time geospatial engine, and combines real-time data from a variety of sensors to create a real-time picture of the airspace where UAS are being operated.

Ottawa, CA: Kongsberg Geospatial, developer of the TerraLens Geospatial SDK, and Larus Technologies of Ottawa, Canada, and the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association of Canada (CASARA), announced today that they have been selected by Public Safety Canada to integrate geospatial software, artificial intelligence, and machine vision software to help develop new methods for the use of drones in search and rescue operations in remote communities in Canada.
