Kongsberg Geospatial creates geospatial and situational awareness capability for a variety of land-based systems and programs. These include visualization and tracking systems for land-based RADAR systems like AN/TPS Ground / Air Task-Oriented RADAR (G/ATOR), and situational awareness and Command and Control applications for mounted and dismounted soldiers like the Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P).

We produce high-efficiency components and applications that function optimally on low power platforms, ARM systems, and a variety of hand-held devices. Our TerraLens platform is the only comprehensive geospatial platform that has been engineered to consistently deliver high performance on low power devices.

Kongsberg Geospatial also has domain experience in real-time systems and sensor integration for vehicular systems. Our Kongsberg DDS implementation of the OMG open standard Distributed Data System has been tried and proven on a variety of Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs) and mobile platforms. Kongsberg Geospatial is a contributing member of the OMG consortium.

 

Kongsberg Geospatial supports the growing need for mobile Situational Awareness by providing high performance solutions for a variety of handheld, tablet, and other portable platforms. With feature-rich solutions for Android, Windows Mobile, and Java-enabled devices, we help reduce the technical risks and schedule required for performance-oriented mobile and dismounted SA applications, such as Mission and Route Planning, C2 On-the-Move, and Forward Observer/Fire Control Support.

Because our TerraLens-based applications have no ITAR restrictions, our customers can easily and quickly produce export-compliant mobile SA solutions, while maintaining the performance and flexibility their customers demand.
