Kongsberg Geospatial and Iris Automation Partner to Bring Complete Airspace Visualization to BVLOS Drone Operators

Kongsberg Geospatial has partnered with Iris Automation to integrate their ground-based DAA system, Casia G, with KG's IRIS Terminal airspace deconfliction platform, providing situational awareness to remote pilots of potential air risks, allowing them to move their UAS to safe zones. The integration fulfills the airspace deconfliction requirements for BVLOS operations and minimizes pilots' workload, providing critical information for optimal decision-making.

SkyDrop uses Kongsberg Geospatial IRIS Terminal technology to obtain New Zealand CAA approvals for suburban drone delivery.

Kongsberg Geospatial's IRIS Ground Control Station application has been implemented by SkyDrop in New Zealand, enabling the company to conduct suburban drone delivery operations in Huntly.
